Angelo Garro runs Renaissance Forge in San Francisco, but he has become well known for his kitchen and his dinner parties.  Instead of buying meat from a butcher, he goes hunting.  Rather than go shopping at a supermarket, he forages for mushrooms.  He makes his own cheese and wine.  For resisting the temptations of the modern world, he has been lionized by the food press.
